Our Tandoori Gotta Cook Tonight seasoning is a slightly milder version of a fiery Asian main dish that uses turmeric, paprika, salt and all the other crucial spices to create an authentic-tasting Tandoori.

GLUTEN-FREE

2-1/2 lbs chicken thighs
Juice of 1 lemon (2 Tbsp)
2 cups whole milk yogurt ( do not use fat free or low fat)
1 small onion, finely chopped

prepare

Remove skin from thighs and score pieces in a 1 criss-cross pattern. Place chicken and lemon juice in a resealable bag and marinate in refrigerator for 20 mins. In a small bowl, mix remaining ingredients with Tandoori seasoning. Add to chicken and seal bag tightly, turning to coat. Marinate for 1 hour. Preheat oven to 400F. Remove chicken from refrigerator & bring to room temperature, approx, 30 minutes. Place chicken coated with sauce on rack over baking sheet. Bake for 40-50 minutes until thermometer reads 180˚

For more heat, add red pepper flakes. Serve over Basmati rice.

    This was by far one of the best meals I’ve served! And it was so easy! My family all went back for seconds on this one – and the kids asked me to prepare it again within the week! This definitely goes on the list of what to serve when we have company for dinner! Delicious!

    I use sour cream instead of yoghurt and ground garlic instead of onions. Marinade it overnight and I cook it in a casserole so not quite the same way as per instructions but it is how we like it and it is gooooood

    The tandoori was excellent and easy to prepare. Try the Punjab Red Tandoori spice on rice, veggies or meat it is also awesome.
