YOU WILL NEED…
1 lb ground beef (at least 20% fat)
Divide beef into 8 equal sections. Place each section on a piece of parchment paper and season with approx 1 tsp seasoning. Place another piece of parchment on top, and smash the burger into a wide, 1/4 inch thick circle. Heat skillet over medium-high heat. Place patties onto hot skillet. Do not touch until the bottom side is fully seared and crisped (about 2 minutes) then flip. Place cheese on top while second side cooks. Stack two patties on a toasted bun with your favorite burger toppings, like lettuce, onion, and tomato.
