YOU WILL NEED…
1 loaf french bread
1/2 cup cream or half & half
3 Tbsp butter
2 Tbsp corn syrup
Slice french bread into 10-12 slices. Whisk together eggs, cream and 1/2 the seasoning. Pour over bread slices, coating all sides and soak for 10 minutes. Place bread on griddle or skillet over medium heat and brown each side. Set aside. Bring water to boiling in a double boiler. Combine butter, corn syrup and remaining seasoning. Heat, whisking frequently until smooth and fragrant. Drizzle over french toast and serve immediately.
