savory pumpkin spice chili seasoning – Urban Accents


Calling all pumpkin lovers…it’s not just for fall. Classic pumpkin spices of cinnamon, ginger, allspice and nutmeg add an added layer of comforting flavor to a bowl of warming chili. Great with ground beef or turkey!



  • 2 Tbsp olive oil
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 1 green pepper, chopped
  • 1 red pepper, chopped
  • 1 jalapeno, seeded and finely chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 lb ground turkey or beef
  • 1 (14.5 oz) can diced tomatoes
  • 1 (15 oz) can pumpkin puree
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 (15 oz) can Great Northern beans, drained & rinsed.


In a stock pot over medium-high heat add olive oil and cook onion, peppers, jalapeno & garlic until tender. Remove half of the vegetables from the pot and set aside.

Add meat, cooking until browned and add seasoning packet. Stir until well combined. Add tomatoes, pumpkin and water, stirring until well combined. Bring to a boil and reduce heat to a simmer. Add beans and remaining vegetables. Cover and cook for 30 minutes. If too thick add additional water. Season with salt & pepper to taste.

Makes 8 1-cup servings.

I’ve loved everything I’ve bought from Urban Accents. And their pumpkin chili is my favorite. I literally have 4 packs in my cupboard because I’ll make it a couple times per month. Soooooo good.

This is so amazing. saw it on clearance at a store and bought and made it. Went back to purchase more and they were sold out. I did not use green pepper, but chose to use green chili's. I also added a tsp. of brown sugar. I will be ordering more. Also so healthy , and a great source of fiber.

Winner. I make this with ground turkey breast, and it is delicious. 1 cup of this delightful chili with all ingredients on the package is only 3 WW Smart Pts. I have made this several times. One dish meal. The pumpkin adds a very subtle sweetness. Love it, and so does my family.
