Our Mozambique Peri Peri has a base of crushed chili peppers and paprika combined with over 6 herbs and spices accented with just the right amount of citrus for a flavorful seasoning blend with a touch of fiery heat.

  • Use 1-2 Tbsp of Mozambique Peri Peri per lb of meat; start with less as this is fiery spicy.
  • For grilling or roasting, mix with olive oil to create a paste; use 2 tsp per lb of meat. Rub paste into meat; marinate for 1-2 hours for best flavor. Add a bit of fresh lime juice to cut the heat and add freshness.
  • For a spicy dressing, mix 1 Tbsp with 2 Tbsp each of olive oil and vingear.
  • Sprinkle over pasta or pizza in place of red pepper flakes.
  • Sprinkle over veggies and potatoes for a kick of spice.

Fiery Guacamole
Combine 2 mashed avocados, 3 T lemon juice, 1 tsp lemon zest, 1 seeded & chopped tomato, 2 tsp seasoning, 1/4 cup chopped cilantro & 1 tsp olive oil; cover tightly with plastic wrap & refrigerate for at least 1 hour.

Peri Peri Chicken Wings
Combine 12 chicken drumettes, 1 T oil & 2 T seasoning; grill over med-high heat 10 min per side until cooked through.

Sweet & Spicy Snack Mix
Heat oven to 300F.  In small saucepan boil & simmer 2 T butter, 2 T brown sugar, 1 tsp blend & 1 tsp water; pour over mixture of 2 cups small pretzels & 1 cup cashews; toss to combine; spread mixture onto prepared baking sheets & roast for 20 min, tossing occasionally

Sweet & Spicy Cucumber Salad
Combine 2 T rice vinegar, 1-2 T blend, 3 T sugar & 2 T sesame seeds; pour over 2 thinly sliced cucumber; chill & serve.

Sweet & Spicy Grilled Pineapple
Peel & core pineapple; cut into thick slices.  Combine 3 T turbonado sugar, 1 T blend & juice and zest of 1 lime to form paste.   Gently toss slices with paste & marinade for 15 min; grill over med-high heat until slightly charred, flipping half-way through cooking.

    I love spice, and I love a spice that bites back! This one is a must have. You can do something very simple like dust it on a burger and serve with a dollop of sour cream, or you can put it in a stew… this is delicious!

    Hard to find Peri Peri this pure. A really nice balance between real flavor and heat. You can’t go wrong with URBAN ACCENTS. I have used many of their spices and every one is of the highest quality. I went on line for this spice because Whole Foods and Wegmans stop carrying PeriPeri. URBAN ACCENTS, I will be back for more of your Spices. Great job all around. Thanks!!!

      Hi Matt. We don’t have a recipe for Peri Peri sauce on our site. What you can do is once you find a recipe you like, replace all the dried chiles with our Peri Peri blend. Start with 2 TBSP and build the heat level to what you like.
