Urban Accents, a Chicago-based specialty food producer, has expanded its sales team.
Rebecca Uphoff has been promoted to director of sales. Uphoff has been with Urban Accents for more than 10 years and has been a key driver in the growth of the company across all specialty food channels. With the promotion, Uphoff will lead and direct the sales force while implementing the plan to increase distribution of the brand. Uphoff will report directly to Tom Knibbs, president.
Kristina Campbell joins Urban Accents in a newly created position as Northeast regional sales manager. In this role, Campbell will report to Uphoff and work closely with Andrew Kramer, director of new business development, to execute the growth strategy developed for this key region. Campbell joins Urban Accents with extensive experience in account management and specialty food sales, previously working with BrandStorm, JOH and Tozzi & Associates. She will be based in Portsmouth, N.H., and manage the territory from Washington, D.C. to Portland, Maine, and west to eastern Pennsylvania.

Urban Accents founders Knibbs and Jim Dygas have grown the original 12 spice blends to more than 150 gourmet products, each still crafted in small batches with unique ingredients.
