- Brie Puff Pastry with Chili Roasted Garlic Filling
Place small Brie wheel on thawed Puff Pastry sheet and cut in half horizontally. Spread 1 cup Thai Chili Roasted Garlic Dipping Sauce between 2 halves. Wrap puff pastry around cheese wheel and crimp edges so it is completely sealed. Beat 1 egg with 1 Tbsp water. Brush seams with egg mixture and place on baking sheet. Bake at 350F until pastry starts to brown. Allow to cool for 6-8 min. Serve with crackers or crusty bread Thai Chili Baked Ham Preheat oven to 325F. Place smoked ham (6-8 lbs), fat side up, in roasting pan. Pour 1-inch water in bottom of pan and roast for 1-1/2 hours. In small bowl, combine 1 cup Thai Chili Roasted Garlic Dipping Sauce, 1/4 tsp ground cloves and 2 Tbsp dark rum (optional). Brush half of mixture over ham and continue to roast another 30-40 min until done. Brush additional glaze over ham every 10 min during final cooking stage.
Chili Roasted Sweet Potatoes Preheat oven to 350F. In large bowl, combine 3 lbs sweet potatoes (cut into quarters), 1/4 c olive oil, 6 Tbsp Chili Ginger Honey Marinade and 3 Tbsp Thai Chili Roasted Garlic Dipping Sauce; toss thoroughly until potatoes are evenly coated. Place in roasting pan and roast (turning every 1/2 hour) until potatoes are brown and crispy on outside and fork tender. Salt & pepper to taste. Serves 6-8.
Glazed Chicken Wings Spicy Mango Glaze Preheat broiler. In large bowl, toss 20 chicken wings with 1 Tbsp vegetable oil, 1/2 tsp pepper and 2 tsp salt; place wings on broiler pan in single layer and broil 5 inches from heat turning them over once until they are barely cooked through, about 20 min. In med saucepan, combine 1/4 cup Thai Chili Roasted Garlic Dipping Sauce, 1/2 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice and 1 cup Mango Papaya Chutney; bring to a light boil over med heat. Reduce heat and simmer for 1 min. Brush 1/4 cup sauce over wings and broil 2 min. Brush with another 1/4 cup of sauce, turn over and brush with another 1/4 cup of sauce. Broil another 2-3 min. Brush with remaining sauce before serving.
Thai Beef Satay Slice a 1 lb flank steak (1-inch thick) across the grain into 1/8-inch-thick slices. Soak wooden skewers in water for 30 min. Thread one slice of steak onto each skewer. Grill or broil one minute per side until browned, but still pink in center. Serve with Thai Chili Roasted Garlic Dipping Sauce.
Thai Chili Glazed Shrimp Soak wooden skewers in water for 30 min; preheat grill or broiler. Thread 2 lbs cleaned & deveined shrimp onto skewers. Cook, turning once until shrimp are pink, about 2 min per side. Brush shrimp with Thai Chili Roasted Garlic Dipping Sauce and cook an additional 30 seconds until glaze bubbles and begins to brown. Turn skewers over and brush second side with sauce. Cook another 30 seconds being careful not to burn sauce. Serve over buckwheat noodles. Serves 4. Thai Shrimp Salad In small bowl, combine 6 Tbsp mayonnaise and 2 Tbsp Thai Chili Roasted Garlic Dipping Sauce; set aside. In large bowl, combine 3/4 lb shrimp (cooked, peeled & deveined), 1/2 cup celery (cut on a bias) and 1/2 cup diced yellow bell pepper. Add sauce mixture and toss until evenly coated. Serve over romaine leaves. Serves 4.
