Our coarsely ground version of a Jamaican Jerk standard, this seasoning blend combines over a dozen zesty herbs and spices including white onion, garlic, allspice, green onion, cayenne red pepper and powdered habeneros.  Popular as a seasoning for marinating chicken and pork, this version also adds a spicy snap when sprinkled over turkey, steaks and ribs.

  • Use 2 Tbsp of Montego Bite per pound of meat.
  • Coat chicken, pork loin or steak with a bit of olive oil, then sprinkle with seasoning before grilling or roasting.
  • Stir into sauces, soups and stews to add a bit of Island heat.
  • Sprinkle on oil-drizzled veggies before roasting.
  • For a delicious marinade: combine with fresh lime juice, orange juice, soy sauce and olive oil, then marinate meat for 1 hour or more and either grill or roast. Reduce marinade after cooking, and serve with meat. See "Chicken Montego" for exact measurements.

I have used Montego Bite for years. Lovelove it! Makes the best pulled pork BBQ...my family's favorite summertime meal and winter, too. When I finally ran out of my stash I couldn't find it in any local grocery stores as they all quit carrying Urban Accents (they are NUTS) so my husband introduced me to the computer, found you and placed my order...came quickly and now I am happy again! Thanks!

Makes excellent jerk chicken.  I also use it in a salad with shrimp, mango, avocado, a little red onion, and lime juice. Delicious!

I haven't opened mine yet and I am sending one each to my sisters. Just a little of this in lime juice and olive oil creates magic on chicken and fish!!

I moisten my pork tenderloins with olive oil, lightly sea salt, course pepper and liberally add Montego Bite. Montego Bite, makes the pork snap. It is my secret ingrediant. Great on poultry also. Only cook meats on the grill.
