| "A few years ago I was at a local grocery looking for a spice to put on steaks for grilling. On the shelf were a few different selections of Urban Accents. With my last name being Urban, I found it a little amusing and thought I’d try the Montego Bite. After opening the bottle for the first time I was very intrigued by the aroma all of the spices put forth together. Well I coated a nice thick rib-eye steak with olive oil and sprinkled on the Montego Bite…man I have to say I rolled my eyes several times while I downed that steak. Well, that local grocer stopped carrying UA and then I ran out of Montego Bite. I tried other spices, tried to make my own rubs, but none could match that flavor. And now I can’t believe how dumb I was not to research the internet for UA! Well, now I found Urban Accents again and I am sure going to sample several of your different spices that you offer-thanks!" |

I don't make traditional Bloody Mary's (I am not a drinker), but I add the blend to tomato & V-8 juice to make the world's second best Virgin Mary (visit the House of Blues in New Orleans for #1). I also add the mix to jarred salsa -- wow, what a way to bring cheap bargain brand salsa to life!" |
