Urban Accents Welcomes New Director of Operations
Chicago, IL, January 31, 2008 – Urban Accents is proud to announce Derrick King as their new Director of Operations. A veteran of the food service industry, King has over 21 years of management experience and a long history of developing systems and processes in the food service industry. Most recently, he spent over 10 years as the Director of Commissary Operations at Food Service Professionals where he managed the delivery, service and planning of lunches for over 380 schools in the Tri-state area.

“I’ll be working to improve the efficiency of all operations at Urban Accents,” King says. “Standardizing procedures and developing room for growth are two of my primary goals.”

King arrives on the heels of Urban Accents’ most profitable year in the company’s history. His superior leadership ability will be a valuable asset as Urban Accents builds on its continuing successes in the specialty food market.
