Trinidad Toasted Nuts
These are delicious as an accent to fresh green salads, a topper on ice cream...or just as a tasty snack!

Ingredients:

2 cups unsalted cashews or walnut halves
2 Tbsp vegetable oil
1 Tbsp Urban Accents Caribbean Peppered Seasoned Salt
1/4 cup sugar



Directions:

In a 350 F oven, warm cashews until crispy; cool.  In medium skillet, heat vegetable oil and add Caribbean Peppered Seasoned Salt, sugar and cashews.  Stir-fry for 1 to 2 minutes; being careful not to burn sugar.  Remove from heat and turn out onto foil-lined cookie sheet.  Spread cashews into single layer to cool.
