Ingredients:

3 lbs Yukon gold potatoes
1-1/2 cups grated Gruyere cheese
1 large egg
1 cup whole milk
2 Tbsp Urban Accents Tuscan Villa
1 Tbsp Urban Accents Parisian Melange
Urban Accents Sonoma Pepper

Directions:

Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.  Generously butter a 13" x 9" glass or ceramic baking dish.  Bring a large stock pot of salted water to a boil. Peel potatoes and cut into 1/8-inch slices. Add potatoes to boiling water and cook 4 minutes. Drain potatoes thoroughly in a colander and pat dry.

In small bowl, combine Tuscan Villa and Parisian Melange.  Arrange 1/3 of the potatoes in baking dish, top with 1/3 cheese, 1/3 spice mixture; sprinkle with Sonoma Pepper.  Repeat twice more, ending with a layer of cheese and spice mixture.  Heat milk just to boiling.  In a small bowl, whisk egg and add to hot milk, stirring to combine. Pour evenly over potatoes. Bake 30 minutes, or until top is golden and potatoes are tender. For an added touch, sprinkle some  Parisian Melange over the whole dish.
