Pan Con Tomate
Traditional dish from Spain… also known as Tomato Bread

Ingredients:

1 dense baguette
1 beefsteak tomato
1 garlic clove, peeled
Olive oil
2 tsp Urban Accents Isle of Capri Seasoned Salt

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350°.  Cut the baguette in half horizontally.  Slice into large pieces about 4-5 inches long. Place bread on baking sheet and toast for 7-8 minutes.  While the bread is toasting, using the largest wholes of a box grater, grate the tomato into a bowl, discarding the majority of the skin.  Rub the garlic clove over the toasted pieces.  Drizzle with olive oil.  Spoon the grated tomato onto the bread and sprinkle with the salt.  Enjoy.

For a heartier meal, top with cheese, ham or sliced sausage.
