Warm or Room Temperature

Ingredients:

2 Tbsp orange juice
4 Tbsp brown sugar
3 Tbsp Urban Accents Bayou Barbeque
4 firm, but ripe bananas, unpeeled

Directions:

In small bowl, combine orange juice, brown sugar and Bayou Barbeque to form smooth paste.

Make sure grill is clean and preheat for medium heat.  Cut ends off of bananas.  Slice bananas in half lengthwise and crosswise so each yields four pieces.  Brush paste on cut sides of bananas and let sit for 3-5 minutes.  Place bananas cut-side down on grill and cook for 2 minutes or until grill marks appear.  Using a pair of long-handled tongs, turn over and cook 5 more minutes, or until the skin starts to pull away from banana.  Let cool to room temperature and serve with spoons to scoop grilled banana from peels.  Delicious with vanilla ice cream and caramel sauce.
