Cranberry Relish with Apples & Walnuts
A gourmet version of the holiday turkey's best accompaniment.

2-1/2 Cups

Room Temperature

Ingredients:

1 cup water
1/4 cup orange juice or Grand Marnier
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 tsp salt
Urban Accents Cranberry Cravings
2 Tbsp orange zest
1 cup chopped apple
1 cup chopped walnuts
1 12-oz bag fresh cranberries*

Directions:

In small saucepan over high heat, bring 1 cup water, orange juice or Grand Marnier, sugar, salt and Cranberry Cravings seasonings to boil.  Lower heat to a simmer and stir in orange zest, apple, walnuts and cranberries.  Cook for 15 to 20 minutes until saucy and cranberries have popped.  Cool to room temperature and serve. 

*If using frozen cranberries, do not thaw; just add about 2 to 4 minutes to simmering time.
